Divine Encounters
Losing my husband was not just a loss of my partner but of a part of my soul. He was the person who anchored me through life’s storms, and his passing created an emptiness so vast, it felt like the world itself had vanished beneath my feet.
As I navigated the overwhelming grief, I realized that my love for him didn’t fade with his absence. It became the lens through which I discovered my purpose. Through the pain, I found a deeper connection to myself and the world around me.

His passing not only left me with a profound sorrow but also ignited a new strength within me. It’s in his memory that I write, create, and share—as a tribute to him, and as a beacon of hope for others who are also carrying the weight of loss.
Though his physical presence is gone, his love and spirit continue to guide me. He remains my source of strength, and every day, I carry him with me, transforming grief into purpose, one word at a time.
The Struggle with Grief
This isn’t just a story—it’s the heart of my journey through loss.

From Grief to Calling
The call to write didn’t come in silence—it came in sorrow. After a season of intense grief, I took an unexpected trip to Canada where God met me not in thunder, but in quiet confirmation.
On my way to visit friends Wendy and Miao for comforting, I crossed paths with two authors, Derrick and Rene. These encounters felt like a divine alignment, not a coincidence.
What had begun as pain started to shift into purpose. The seed for my books and essays was planted in sacred surrender.

A Divine Connection
Joan's Testimony
“We both lost our husbands just a month apart, which drew us closer as friends. We often called each other for support during those incredibly difficult times. On August 26, 2024, I called Leah early in the morning. During our conversation, she shared that she had received confirmation from God and was writing a book. I felt an immediate urge to pray for her.
‘Let me pray for you right now,’ I said. As I began to pray, I saw a vision: ‘Oh my God, the anointing is here. I see you sitting at a desk, head bowed in writing, with a glowing golden cap of glory covering your head. The Holy Spirit is anointing you.’ The anointing was indescribably beautiful. ‘This book is about God, not about you. God will guide your mind as you write,’ I told Leah.”
