Fire in the Sky, Silence in the Heart

What good is a golden horizon?

I came across photos I took at home of the incredible sunset I pass each evening — a sky spilling gold and fire. Yet something unsettled me: even the most breathtaking beauty cannot fill the loneliness, leaving it distant and almost untouchable.

If you are asked this question: would you choose a horizon painted gold, knowing you must carry it alone in your chest? Or would you choose a sky with no spectacle at all, but a hand intertwined with yours — where even the fading light feels enough?

Perhaps beauty, when left unshared, becomes an echo of what is missing. And perhaps an emotional connection, even beneath an ordinary, colorless sky, is the light that warms us and gently fills the hollow places within our hearts.
